June 3, 2021

The PMFCFS was initially launched in 2019. The Launching of the Center was for a certain need in the GCC countries and particular Saudi Arabia. The famous vision 2030 touches on all aspects of the Saudi Arabia (Economy, Tourism, Education, Etc.). The Vision in itself is futuristic and with high ambition. The country needs Futures Studies Centers to build capacity in the field of future studies, so as to contribute in studies and consultation that are derived from the Vision and build on various aspects of life in Saudi Arabia. When the center first started, immediately we realized that we have to start where others ended, thus the need for collaboration agreements with local, regional, and international future studies centers and institutions. In this talk, we detail how we worked with our partners to set PMFCFS on the map as one of the leading futures studies centers in Saudi Arabia and the GCC Region.
