In 2021, pandemic conditions enabled a new approach in futures (or foresight?) literacy in Germany - and provided insights on how we can make futures thinking more inclusive. In cooperation and conjunction with the foresight process “Vorausschau” realized by the German Ministry for Science and Education (BMBF), the foresight festival (a futures movie and science festival) joined forces with several higher education institutions to make futures thinking accessible via a foresight academy. Future Impacts realized this Foresight Literacy approach, including toolkits and open-to-all-workshops, and Cornelia’s presentation will reflect on what we learned in the process.
